El profesor Mario Seccareccia de la University of Ottawa es uno de los economistas poskeynesianos más reconocidos a nivel mundial, especializado en temas de macroeconomía, teoría monetaria, economía del trabajo, historia del pensamiento económico e historia económica.

El curso que discutirá el tema de la banca central y la política monetaria en el contexto actual, constará de tres sesiones:

• Understanding Money: Both "Old" and "Modern" Money, as Viewed from a Keynes-Polanyi Perspective
• What is the True Nature of Monetary Policy? Is Monetary Policy Passé, and What Is to Be Done?
• What Are the Monetary Policy Challenges of Both the Growing De-Globalization of the World Trading System and the Mounting New Threat of Dollarization (both Official and via the Global North’s Crypto-Currencies Now Being Aggressively Promoted by the Current US Administration)?
